In addition to wastewater received from City of Lexington and Rockbridge County Public Service Authority, the Lexington-Rockbridge RWQCF treats septage hauled in from septic tanks in the area and leachate runoff from the Blue Ridge Resource Authority (BRRA) Landfill. The treatment facility will accept septage from a commercial septage hauler whose primary business location is within Rockbridge County or septage pumped from a home or business in Rockbridge County, and who is approved by the RC PSA. Septage haulers must check in with the operator on duty before discharging their tank.
