The Maury Service Authority is a wholesale supplier of potable water and wastewater services.
The MSA produces water as a wholesale provider to the City of Lexington and the Rockbridge Public Service Authority. In turn, these two organizations distribute the water to businesses and residences in the area.
The wastewater situation is similar. The City of Lextington and RCPSA each own and operate a wastewater collection system. The sewer flows to the MSA Lextington-Rockbridge WQCF where it is treated.
MSA sets water and wastewater rates each spring for the coming fiscal year, which runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year.
