NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADJUST WHOLESALE WATER AND WASTEWATER RATES charged to the City of Lexington and to the Rockbridge County Public Service Authority and notice of Public Hearing. The Maury Service Authority (MSA) hereby provides notice that as of July 1, 2024, it intends to establish the wholesale water rate of $4.98 per 1,000 gallons. The MSA also proposes to establish the wholesale sewer rate of $9.16 per 1,000 gallons, the leachate wholesale treatment rate of $24.82 per 1,000 gallons, and the wholesale treatment rate for septage of $104.13. per 1,000 gallons. The public hearing to hear public comments on the proposed fiscal year 2025 rates will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 and will be held in the MSA Board Meeting Room located on the 2nd Floor of the MSA Water Treatment Plant (130 Osage Lane, Lexington VA 24450).
